Attorney Profiles - Mr. Blake Edward Marcus

 Blake was born in Hollywood, Florida and attended The Florida State University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Finance and Accounting in 2010. He then attended Michigan State University School of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude. During Law School, Blake was a summer Law Clerk for the Honorable Michelle Rick, interned at the Glasheen, Mclean, Campbell, and Schumacher Law firm, and served in the Michigan State University College of Law Investor Advocacy Clinic. In May of 2014, Blake moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina where he practiced criminal defense continuously gaining significant experience representing clients in Court and advising clients on an array of difficult legal subjects. In early 2025, Blake was blessed with the opportunity to join and work with the Derek Jones Law Office PLLC. Blake has a tremendous passion for advocating for his clients in Court and providing sound legal advice on various legal matters.

Blake and his college sweetheart, Leah, have been married for many wonderful years since 2015. They live in Asheville with their two magnificent children, along with their beloved cats. Blake and his family greatly enjoy hiking and playing outdoors in the beautiful parks in the area. In his free time, Blake also enjoys movies, playing sports, and video games.
